Hello, helloooo and welcome to T.O.K.Y.O (Japan)!!! I can't believe I'm writing these words, but yes I finally went there. I already planned to visit the city in 2020, but my trip was canceled due to Covid again! This year, one month before going to Seoul, the Japanese government decided to open its borders to the public! I didn't think for long, I almost immediately booked my flight from Seoul to Tokyo (best decision ever). It was a short trip - only four days - but what a trip!!! (maybe #1 on my list haha). First of all, I'm super proud of myself because I was alone and I organized my trip by myself too! Of course, I ask for some advice, but it's a real satisfaction for me. As I always say, in my opinion, the real key to a good trip is good ORGANIZATION.
But I think I'll write an article about it because I have a lot to say lol!
So, Tokyo is just AMAZING, I don't know what to say because it was perfect from A to Z: the people were so nice, it was so easy to move through the city (even if you are alone and don't speak a word of Japanese), the food is INCREDIBLE as well as the landscapes. It's a real good mix between tradition and modernity. I can recommend many places to visit like: Shinjuku (a lively district where my hotel was located), Akiabara (for manga, anime and tech), Asakusa and Ueno park (for a traditional atmosphere). Of course, don't forget to go to Shibuya and walk through its famous cross street! You must also reach the top of the SkyTree (the highest tower in the city) because the view is simply incredible. I recommend you to take a tour bus ride when you arrive, then you can understand how BIG and beautiful Tokyo is. I also visited the strangest but most beautiful exhibition ever: The team Lab PLANET. You absolutely must do it if you are in Tokyo!
Finally, I really, really, really liked the city; it was better than I expected. I had never seen giant buildings and screens like that before (It's funny because that's exactly the image I have of New York, but I've never been there yet :) ) - Assitan <3
